We believe that democracy, human rights including freedom of speech, assembly, peaceful dissent and workers’ rights are being threatened and denied. Workers demand these fundamental rights be restored. These are inherent rights and must not be subject to Government approvals or generosity.

We invite all people who believe in these rights to participate. Government has nothing to fear if it genuinely believes it is doing  the right thing as it proclaims in international forums.
